Uncompress Files Online with Wobzip

Ever had to uncompress an important file which is in your Web mail box while you are on the go and you don’t find any uncompressing application on the computer? No longer will you be limited by the inability to install programs onto admin-protected computers. Situations like this can occur, and at times it’s really frustrating.

WobZIP comes to your rescue which is a free online tool that allows you to uncompress your files online. It does not require any registration and features quick, safe and easy uncompressing online.

Compressed files are scanned first using an anti-virus scanner so any infected files will be removed before you download them onto your computer.

About 15 formats are supported by WobZip: 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, RAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZHCHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS.

To uncompress files from your computer, go to the main page and select your file by clicking the “Browse” button then on “wobzip it!”

To uncompress files from a URL, go to this page and type in your URL. Click on “wobzip it!” to upload and uncompress.

If the compressed file is protected by a password, you can provide the password while uncompressing.

The maximum file size of compressed file is 100MB.

After files have been uploaded, a list of your files will appear along with a “Delete all files” button. You can delete your files by clicking on that button.

WobZIP uses 7-zip to perform the uncompression and BitDefender as antivirus scanner.
