YouTube provide the best interface to upload and share video across internet. Till now YouTube did not had any capability to edit the YouTube video. But, now YouTube has added a video editor, by which you can edit your uploaded videos with basic editing features like trimming, rotating, brightness, contrast and color intensity controls.
Steps to use YouTube Video Editor:
1. Login to your YouTube account
2. Click on Settings and select the Video Editor tab next to Video Manager.
3. You will find all the videos uploaded by you.
4. You can preview videos before selecting them for editing by clicking on the center of the video.
5. To select a clip for editing, click on + sign on the left of video.
6. After clicking a video’s plus sign, the video will be shown in the storyboard. Mouse over this video.
7. Click the scissors to open the clip for trimming.
8. Under the scissor tab, you can trim your video by grabbing the “Trimmers” on either side of the clip and dragging them left or right. You can also click to a point in the middle of your clip to move the Trimmer.
9. There are more tools in the 3 other tabs at the top of the editing box including ways to Rotate and add Effects and/or Text to your video.
10. Click on save now to save your edits.
