We have seen lots of software to compare text files, such as Beyond Compare. Sometimes, we are in requirement to compare and see the differences in the PDF files.
For example, We need to compare two PDF versions of some document which got updated after each version release. Going word by word to see the comparison won’t be an easy job.
DiffPDF comes really handy in those situations. DiffPDF can compare two PDF files. It offers two comparison modes: Text and Appearance.
By default the comparison is of the text on each pair of pages, but comparing the appearance of pages is also supported (for example, if a diagram is changed or if a paragraph is reformatted).
It is also possible to compare particular pages or page ranges. For example, if there are two versions of a PDF file, one with pages 1-4 and the other with pages 1-5 because of an extra page having been added as page 3.

PDF files can be loaded from the GUI by pressing the File #1 and File #2 buttons.

Select the option for comparison either using Appearance or Text.
Difference will be presented to you marked with red by default. You can modify the color from the DiffPDF options.

It’s freely available for Linux, Mac & Windows.
