Backup and Restore Microsoft Windows Drivers

You might have been in a situation where you had faced Microsoft Windows being crashed or wanted to format the system, so that you can re-install the fresh Windows. The thing that bugs us most is, hunting and installing all the required device drivers.

It’s always a good idea to back up your drivers from an existing running Microsoft Windows, so that you can quickly restore them after re-installation.

There are some free software available which you can use to back up your Microsoft windows drivers. In this post, I am going to discuss about Double Driver Software.

Download Double Driver software from here.

After download the software unzip it. Double click on dd.exe to launch the software.

Click on “Scan” and then “Select” -> All.

Click on “Backup”, a window will pop up requesting for destination where backup is to be saved. Click on “OK” to start the backup process.

When the backup is completed, click on “Close”.

In order to restore the saved drivers, click on “Restore”. A window will pop up which will ask for the backup location where backup driver were saved.

Click on “Restore” and you are done!!
